GenCon’s primary purpose is to generate research designed to make meaningful change in various areas of society with regard to gender equality and the advancement of women.Item Open Access GENDER STEREOTYPES ABOUT MANAGERS: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF CEE AND CA(Almaty Management University, 2020) Lipovka, AnastassiyaThe paper investigates gender stereotypes (GS) about managers across a post-socialist, now emerging geographic region with the high Human Development Index but lacking due research attention. The study extends the previous survey conducted in Bulgaria, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia with a Kazakhstani sample of 551 respondents. The research identified stronger GS in Kazakhstan compared to CEE.
