Abstract

А.П.Чеховтың «Хамелеон» әңгімесі, 1884 жылы «Осколки» журналының №30 басылымында алғаш рет жарық көрген еді. Жазушылық атты сара жолға енді қадам басып келе жатқан жас Чеховтың дара жұмысы ретінде, бұл әңгіме көпшілік халыққа арнап жазылды. This scientific article is dedicated to determine the strategies and peculiarities in the translated version of Chekhov’s story “Chameleon”. The translation was done by A. Bokeykhanuly. The main objective is to identify the quality of translation (preservation of the communicative and expressional peculiarities of the original text) by using the method of comparison.
