CHALLENGES OF SCIENCE TEACHERS IN TEACHING THEIR SUBJECTS IN ENGLISH AT A NIS SCHOOL IN NORTHERN KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract

Trilingual policy was introduced by the First president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev where he highlighted the importance of learning three languages (Kazakh, Russian and English). The implementation started from Nazarbayev Intellectual School developing NIS programme where according to this programme science subjects in high school should be taught in English.
