dc.description.abstractThe current educational policy in Kazakhstan aims to achieve globalization, nationalization, and human capital development through education. Its main policy changes include trilingual education and the transformation of former teacher-centered teaching and learning practices towards more constructivist methods. Despite such optimistic aspirations, the implementation of these changes could result in unexpected outcomes.
