dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to examine primary school teachers’ perspectives on the new curriculum reform and factors influencing the implementation. The research questions explore how teachers implement the new primary curriculum reform; what factors support the implementation; and what factors constrain the implementation. A qualitative research method was used, within it the collective case studies were conducted to do in-depth examination of two cases: a rural and an urban mainstream school. Maximum variation purposeful sampling was used to select twelve teachers as the participants. Data were mainly collected through eighteen individual semi-structured interviews.
