Abstract:
Radiating spherically-symmetric collapsing model is studied. Exterior Vaidya spacetime
is matched with the interior of a perfect fluid with a heat flow. Junction conditions
and field equations are derived, revealing that a nonzero pressure at the boundary
is necessary to satisfy the boundary conditions. Solution for model with assumption
that the fluid trajectories are geodesics is found. When heat flux is set to zero,
it is demonstrated that the model becomes that of an Oppenheimer and Snyder.
