Abstract

In a nutshell, ToiBook can be characterised as a wedding planning application that seeks to minimize the disunity that couples in Kazakhstan may experience, whenever they organize events via different chats, or spreadsheets, social media pages, and phone calls. The project is trying to address a real coordination problem, which deals with the search of vendors, guest tracking, budget awareness, and event organization within local cultural and language limitations. The objective of the project was to design and implement a practical MVP for three roles - couples, vendors, and administrators. The final scope focused on authentication, event creation, profile, vendor discovery and filtering, dashboard foundations, and initial vendor-side request-management flows. The team used a concise methodology: requirements analysis, UI prototyping, architecture refactoring, backend API implementation, deployment on Railway to ease out development and testing stages, and evaluation through scenarios. The end product is a technical base that is a Flutter client and a Java Spring Boot server with JWT-based authentication, profile and event endpoints, vendor feed/filtering logic, and deployable backend services.
