Abstract

This volume marked the first attempt to compile current research on the intersection of gender and education in Central Asia. Divided into two distinct parts, the first section offered a comparative examination of the gender policy landscape, encompassing both contemporary and historical perspectives, along with an analysis of various gender equality indicators across Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.
