dc.description.abstractIn recent times there has been an increasing amount of research which has focused on research production and the drivers behind the research activity of faculty. However, a common challenge for a university is to increase faculty members’ research output. Our literature review displays that the most salient influences on research output are those associated with the individual and organizational factors, and social contingencies.en_US
