Abstract
Cross-infection is a significant issue in dental care provision. Everyone: patients, seeking care and dentists, providing that care are at risk of contracting infections. Nowadays, infectious diseases pose a serious problem worldwide, especially for developing countries like Kazakhstan, due to scarce financial resources allocated for healthcare. Prevention and control measures are the most efficient methods of combating against infectious diseases. Patients are one of the interested bodies in efficient infection control, thus it is important to raise awareness of the public about infection control measures.
