TEACHING ACADEMIC KAZAKH II

Abstract

Academic Kazakh II is the second course between studying academic-level Kazakh and using Kazakh at the professional level in the Kazakh Language Program at the Department of KazLT. The course was created following new language policy of the Department of Kazakh Language and Turkic Studies in August 2019. This course focuses on B2.2 /AM level academic content while introducing students to C1.1 /AH level Kazakh language. The webinar will present the strategies, requirements, activities, learning outcomes, tasks, assessments, and interdisciplinary connections based on teaching experience at Nazarbayev University.
