dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to explore the factors that successful graduates of doctoral degrees in law programs attribute to their persistence towards degree completion in Kazakhstan. A multiple case study design was implemented, with each participant considered as an individual case. The sample included six graduates of doctoral degrees in law from Kazakhstani universities both male and female, single and married, state-funded and self-funded, who graduated in the last five years and who were working in the legal field at a higher education institution in Astana.
