Abstract

This thesis is a qualitative study aimed to explore the extent to which the state and entrepreneurs impact the transnational development of the IT sector in Kazakhstan. In this study, I surveyed 42 IT entrepreneurs and interviewed 14 of them to understand what factors influence the transnational growth of the IT industry.
