MODERNIZATION AND POLITICAL PARTY DEVELOPMENT IN KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract

Modernization is a unique process that in one or another way can contribute to democratization. However, the transition to democracy is not guaranteed and includes various factors, such as the development of civil society, the openness of political institutions, and the transparency of political processes. It should be noted that mass mobilization of society and the interest of ordinary people in politics are an essential part of the modernization process. Thereby, political parties take center stage setting up a dialogue between citizens and the state.
