Abstract

Teachers play a critical role in the educational system, and it is essential for them to continuously improve their professional skills to improve the overall quality of education. In Kazakhstan, the Teacher Appraisal System (TAS) is used to monitor the development of teachers. This system is vital for all teachers. This study aims to explore teachers' perspectives on the strengths and weaknesses of the TAS and how these perceptions affect their engagement with the system.
