dc.description.abstractFirst years of a newly-hired faculty is an important period during which major processes take place which may further influence the beliefs and attitudes of faculty toward teaching. The instructors are an essential condition which has considerable impact on the quality of education. Therefore, understanding the complexity of experiences of novice instructors is vitally important if their training is to be improved. Academic induction is a set of activities usually provided to such novice instructors to support their integration to new institution and develop their pedagogical competencies.....en_US
