The research article describes the necessity and problems regarding the translation of technical papers in Kazakhstan. Also, it provides the evaluation of one technical textbook translated from Russian to Kazakh. The requirements and criteria for translating the technical papers are discussed. Additionally, typical mistakes made by translators and appropriate versions of translation are analyzed. Analysis is done by exemplifying certain areas of the translated book. The proper citations of scientists who studied the phenomenon of translation are given in the article to verify the stated claims.
