Abstract
Kazakhstan is currently in the process of actively developing inclusive education in educational organizations. As part of any educational reform, the concept and practices of leadership are crucial. However, the concept of leadership is understood in varying ways, and there is no one fixed definition. The present study examines leadership experiences from the perspective of middle manager leaders in Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools (NIS) and Kazakhstani secondary schools. The present study is qualitative in approach, utilizing a phenomenological research design. In total, six participants were recruited for this research and were involved in face-to-face semi-structured interviews. The interview questions explored their understanding of the concept of leadership and leadership for inclusion and their experiences in implementing inclusive policies and practices.....
