dc.description.abstractThis project uses numerical methods to study the behavior of solutions to the linear regularized Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation disturbed by a linear term. Analyzing shallow water waves and ion-acoustic waves in plasmas is based on the KdV and Benjamin-Bona-Mahony (BBM) equations, which are essential in the study of fluid dynamics and wave propagation. By taking into account alternative forms of the per- turbation function f (x, t), we investigate how different perturbations affect the solution of the linearized KdV equation.
