This project was carried out in collaboration with the National Coordination Center (NCC) to assist them in the development of Business Processes in the newly designed Emergency Hospital. The main aim of this project was to model, simulate and automate existing and newly designed processes with the help of digital tools- mainly Bizagi. Through a mapping process, existing BPs were standardized and modeled with the help of Bizagi Platforms, and later automated. Discrete outcomes include the design of BPs in 3 core areas of interest for the center, namely the Mobile Team of Medical Aviation, Dispatching Room, and Emergency Process. Level 1(Process Validation) was carried out successfully in this work and passed on to the consolidation stage. The consolidated model was automated using Bizagi Studio until Stage 6 of Business Process Automation. In order to validate the resulting model, descriptive statistics on the real-time data of existing processes were performed. Based on these observations, the average duration of 6 critical stages of the emergency process were calculated. Based on consultation with center representatives, 75% and 90% intervals were used to define, acceptable, at risk and unacceptable categories. The results were then input to Bizagi Studio to define acceptable time limits during the execution stage of the automated process. Automated business processes are crucial in improving existing healthcare delivery in the context of Kazakhstan. This project lays the foundation in digitizing business processes, optimizing business flow and integrating activities with existing systems. This will lead to enhancements in process cycles, reductions in organizational redundancies and improvements in operational transparency. The outcome of this project highlights the necessity in transitioning to automated business processes using digital tools like Bizagi, which offer further integration to ERP systems, complete business architecture and the possibility for Business Process Reengineering (BPR). This work provides an overall business architecture for Emergency Healthcare provision in the NCC, which offers the potential to be further expanded to include the remaining 12 processes and integrated in the delivery of Emergency healthcare in Kazakhstan at a wider level.en_US
