dc.description.abstractThe NU Housing Management System is a full-stack web application developed to streamline and modernize university housing operations at Nazarbayev University. Designed using React.js for the frontend and Spring Boot with PostgreSQL for the backend, the system supports key functionalities such as room allocation, maintenance request handling, lease management, and role-based user access. Emphasizing scalability, multilingual support, and data privacy compliance, the project follows Agile development principles and is containerized using Docker for deployment. The solution addresses inefficiencies in manual housing processes and serves as a practical, real-world software engineering project.
