In today's digital age the role of libraries in the academic life of the university is increasingly a subject to change. Proper advertising will help the library to take and strengthen a visible place in the university. ● How to determine the needs of the patrons? ● How to advertise our services and collection for students and faculty? ● ABC of library marketing ● How to use social networks for library promotion? The presentation is prepared by Roza Smagulova, Patron Services Consultant, about her study and practice in the School of Library and Information Studies of UW-Madison as a part of the partnership between UW-Madison and Nazarbayev University. The presentation also contents ideas and suggestions for the NU Library.
