DESIGN OF 12 STOREY HOTEL "MANTANA" IN THE HEART OF LOS ANGELES

Abstract

The project focuses on design of 12-strey hotel named “MANTANA” located in Los Angeles, California. The project consists of 6 main parts: the justification of site selection, architectural part, structural design, geotechnical design, environmental part, and construction management. The paper concentrates on detailed structural analysis and structural design of the building. The site selection, material selection, architectural design, structural calculation, geotechnical engineering design, solid waste management, construction management evaluations were performed. The research includes the development of advanced design models for the hotel, emphasising sustainable materials and construction practices.
