dc.description.abstract The aim of this research is to investigate how school psychologists assist students in selecting a career in Kazakhstan. The study also examines their comprehension of career guidance, the obstacles they encounter in this process, the causes of those difficulties, and the approaches psychologists use to overcome those challenges. The central research question that guided the study was: What is the role of school psychologists in the career guidance of high school students in the context of gifted schools in Kazakhstan? The study utilized a qualitative semi-structured interview technique to answer the research question. The study participants consisted of six school psychologists who worked in schools for gifted children and were involved in providing career guidance to students. en_US
