dc.description.abstract Today, magnetic transmissions as a highly efficient technology are being studied and developed by researchers because of their promising potential. Current axial magnetic gear drive designs are using straight magnets, and no one has investigated the potential effect of gears in spiral magnet configurations. This paper describes the torque transmission capabilities of axial magnetic gear drive with a new design that consists of spiral magnets. The simulations were carried out in Comsol Multiphysics in 3D, comparing the transmission of torque power and torque ripple, which is a source of vibration, and studying the change in the gear ratio for the new design. en_US
