dc.description.abstract | The path towards green economy led people to rethink the idea of energy utilization and generation. To reduce the amount of produced green gas emissions, nowadays, people are installing renewable energy generation units near their households. Simultaneously they are able cover their needs and sell the energy surplus. However, the capability of DER can be further expanded and used for voltage mitigation, power quality improvement and etc. Therefore, in this work, first, the issues of system voltage profile such voltage sag and overvoltage scenarios are considered with the further improvement of voltage profile which is set as primary goal for this work. Following that, minimization of active and reactive power losses were considered a second goal as well as power factor improvement of the utility. The proposed solution involved regulation of DER inverter which consequently can produce reactive power and inject it to the network and preserve its stability. The proposed algorithm involve optimal reactive power allocation followed by the fair distribution of the remuneration based on Shapley value. To prove the effectiveness of the proposed method, the algorithm was tested on IEEE-33 bus radial distribution network. In the case study, a game with three and four players is shown. The results clearly showed that the proposed method improves voltage profile of the system, decreases losses associated with energy transactions, ameliorates power factor of the utility as well as fairly reimburses customers for the provided services, thereby, achieving Pareto-optimal solution. | en_US |
