Particle spectrum of the Reissner–Nordström black hole

Abstract

By establishing the Reissner–Nordström black hole–moving mirror correspondence, this study derives the particle spectrum of emitted neutral massless scalar particles. The computed beta Bogoliubov coefficients show that the presence of charge reduces the number of emitted particles per frequency. At late times, the emitted spectrum follows a Planck distribution with temperature matching the surface gravity of the outer horizon. The results recover the Schwarzschild limit when charge tends to zero and the extremal Reissner–Nordström limit at maximal charge.,
