On plasma neutralization of the ion beam

Abstract

Using molecular dynamics simulations with a Yukawa potential, the study demonstrates two-stage neutralization of ion beams: initial strong self-potential capturing electrons, followed by cold electron accumulation. Electron source location impacts beam potential.
