Abstract
The paper proposes a novel hierarchical cosimulation algorithm that incorporates an acceptance–rejection approach to better model spatial variables with inequality constraints. Traditional geostatistical models often fail to handle such constraints effectively, leading to unrealistic simulations. The authors demonstrate their method on both synthetic and real datasets, showing improved accuracy and realism in representing complex geological structures.
