Completeness of medication prescriptions: Prescription errors study in Hail region

Abstract

This study assessed the completeness of medication prescriptions in the Hail region of Saudi Arabia. The analysis revealed a high frequency of prescription errors, particularly missing essential information such as patient details, dosage, and prescriber signatures. The findings highlight the need for stricter regulations, improved training of healthcare providers, and the implementation of electronic prescribing systems to enhance patient safety and reduce medication-related risks.
