To be scholarly, one must follow a conventional citation and referencing format. The reference list must be accurate and free from mistakes. By doing so, the bibliographic information cited in the research becomes valid. This ongoing research used citation analysis to share the initial results found in tracking the common errors generated by graduate students in referencing. In particular, the research will focus on APA style as this is the citation guide prescribed by the school.
