The journal had some challenges, and so the work on the journal was postponed. In March 2023 the Graduate School of Education announced the re-establishment the journal with a new editorial team, which was led by NUGSE Academic English Instructor Dr Andrew Drybrough, and Akerke Ayaganova, Senior Manager for Academic and Student Affairs.
