SciVal’s data analytics showed that there is an average of nine scholarly outputs published a year for the last five years. Publication types include journal articles, conference papers, books, and book chapters. This presentation highlights and recognizes the research work of Filipino librarians and their notable contribution to the Library and Information Science (LIS) profession. Based on the author’s research experience, the presentation attempts to stimulate interest in LIS research. It is hoped that collaboration among scholars will strengthen and motivate them to contribute to conceptual and practical knowledge. Moreover, this presentation prepares and challenges the audience to unlock their potential to become outstanding researchers in the propagation and advancement of LIS literature.
