dc.description.abstract Developed as well as developing countries are faced with the complex and interrelated problems related to adolescent sexual health issues such as pregnancy, early childbearing and increasing rates of STIs such as chlamydia, syphilis and gonorrhea (UNICEF, 2018). This is due to the lack of quality sexual health literacy among the contemporary young generation. Kazakhstan is also, as many developed and developing countries in the world, challenged with the current social problem of teen pregnancy among its youth population. Leaving young people uninformed about their sexual health is critical. School-based sexual health education issues have been contested for a long time in many countries, and Kazakhstan is no exception in this dispute.... en_US
